Golden Sun: An Underrated Gem

Golden Sun came out for the GameBoy Advance back in 2001. It’s sequel, Golden Sun: The Lost Age, came out in 2002.

The main point of the game is to traverse the world of Weyward and eventually light the four elemental lighthouses which are called (in order): Mercury Lighthouse, Venus Lighthouse, Jupiter Lighthouse, and Mars Lighthouse. The main characters of the game are adepts (people with elemental powers.) These people collect Djinn (little elementals that, when combined, can summon a special monster.)  Basically, the game is a fantasy RPG.

It’s also a highly underrated RPG. The last game was released in 2010 on the DS. That game ended on a cliff-hanger. A lot of people want to know what happens after…

but there’s no sign of a Golden Sun 4!

This game has been (sadly) forgotten.  I understand that an RPG like this isn’t for everyone. But they really should give it another chance. It’s a really good game, and it deserves more than just three games.

What I Love

I am into Star Wars, Metroid, Amnesia:Justine, Treasure Planet, and  Legend of Zelda. MY favorite thing to do is LARP with my friends.

What I Love (but can't do):

I love cosplay, but I unfortunately cannot make costumes. 

What I Don't Like:

Five Night's at Freddy's is really not my cup of tea.  Super Mario and Call of Duty are double-disliked by me. 

Other Facts:

• I love the online cartoon Salad Fingers (David Firth is a genius!)
• My favorite Video Game of all time is Metroid Prime.
• My favorite movie (apart from Star Wars) is Treasure Planet.
